From Skype for Business Online to Microsoft Teams

Over 18 months ago, Microsoft announced the retirement of the Skype for Business Online service on July 31, 2021, and we've been working hard with our customers to ensure a successful transition to Microsoft Teams, which is fully integrated with Microsoft 365.

While a majority of customers are on the move to complete the upgrade, some still need help getting to "Teams only“.

Microsoft Teams

With Skype for Business Online coming to an end, it's time to find a new tool.
Microsoft Teams offers seamless productivity with remote access from any device,
and it is fully integrated with Microsoft 365.

Microsoft Teams extends the capabilities of Skype for Business, bringing together chat, meetings, calls, collaboration, app integration and file storage in a single interface. Teams 115 million daily active users reflects its value as a lifeline for remote and hybrid work and learning during the pandemic, helping people and organizations in any industry stay flexible and resilient.

Teams is not just an upgrade to Skype for Business, but a powerful tool that opens the door to new ways of working. And as the focal point of Microsoft's workplace innovation, Teams capabilities will continue to grow, further breaking down organizational and geographic barriers and driving greater efficiency in process and decision-making.

We're here to make sure you have a successful migration to Microsoft Teams and feel free to contact us about the next steps.
