Skype for Business becomes Teams
The talk of Microsoft Teams is everywhere, and for good reason. The platform unifies your coordination and communication with internal and external partners, making collaboration much more manageable and efficient.
For all Skype users, there is now another good reason to get started with Teams.
In a year and a half, on July 31, 2021 to be exact, Microsoft will shut down Skype for Business. Skype for Business will no longer be available as a standalone product and Microsoft will refer to Teams instead.
Teams already includes Skype's familiar chat and meeting features. So there's no need to wait to upgrade and enjoy all the other great features in Teams.
