Teams outside the remote desktop on Mac

How do I access Microsoft Teams on Mac outside the remote desktop, for example to access a Teams meeting?


Minimize the Remote Desktop in the blue bar at the top of the screen

Open a browser and enter your webmail address and log in.

Click on the following link and then proceed to step 5:

Note! If you do not know your webmail address, you can contact IT Forum Gruppen to find out.

Open your Calendar (1)

Click on the meeting request (2) and select Sign up now (3)

Click here Download Teams apps (4)

Note! If you have already installed the Teams app locally, you can select Open your Teams app.

Click the installation file when it has finished downloading (5)

Click here Continue (6)

Click here Install (7)

Click here Close (8)

Enter your name (9) and check that Teams is using the desired microphone (10) and camera (11)

Pressure Join now (12)

Note! If the camera and microphone do not work, for example if you have connected a headset, follow the first few steps of the guide: Team video meetings on remote desktop
