How do I test and send hardware information to IT Forum Group to ensure my computer is approved for Modern Workplace?
IMPORTANT! The tutorial must be completed on your local desktop, i.e. outside the remote desktop.
Download the file itf_hwexport.ps1 (1) from the link: https://migratefiles.hosit.dk/itf_hwexport.ps1
Click on the the folder symbol (1) or open your Explorer and navigate to the folder Transfers.
Note! You may find that Windows Security blocks the file from running. In that case, right-click on the file and select Features and properties. Then tick the box Remove blocking and click OK.
Right-click on the file itf_hwexport.ps1 (2) and select Run with PowerShell (3).
Notes: If you see the following image pop up, tap Enter and then open PowerShell again as described in step 2.
Click on the Open up (4).
Notes: If a message appears asking you to authorize Windows PowerShell to make changes on this computer, select Yes, you can.
Now follow the instructions in the program and enter the required information.
Finally, you'll find out if your computer is approved for Modern Workplace or if there are any requirements the computer does not meet.
You have now completed the hardware check. Thank you for your help.
