Backing up NemID signature

How do I back up my NemID certificates?

Press the Start (1) > All programs (2). Maximize the folder NemID (3) > NemID CSP (4). Select Take Backup (5).

Please note that the layout may vary depending on which version of Windows you are using.

Select the certificate you want to back up (6) and press OK (7).

Note! If the list is empty, you do not have any certificates to back up. Therefore, skip to the next guide.

Create a folder on your desktop called NemID Backup (8) and enter File name (9).

Pressure Gem (10) to save the file in the folder.

Note! If there are multiple certificates, it's a good idea to name the file name with the CVR number and/or expiration date. Press the More details to see the CVR number.

Enter your NemID password (11) and click OK (12). The signature is now saved.

Note! If you have multiple certificates, repeat the points above. Backups must be made of ALL certificates - even those that have expired.
