Setting up FileDrive on Windows

How do I access my remote desktop drives from my local computer?


If you don't have the latest version of the program, download it by doing the following:

Scroll down to Drive (1) and select FileCloud Drive for Windows (2).

Click here Drive (3).

Click here Yes, you can for the program to make changes on your local computer.

Click here Next (4).

Click here Install (5).

Check the box next to Yes, restart the computer now (6). Click here Finish (7). The computer will now restart.

The following window will pop up after the computer has restarted. Enter the following information:

Server URL (8): https://filedrive.hosit.dk
Account (9): your email address
Password (10): your remote desktop password etc.

Under the gear in the top right corner (11), you can change the drive letter to the letter you want your drives on the remote desktop to be grouped under (choose one you do not already use on your local computer). Click the cross when you have changed the letter.

Click here Sign In (12).

The following image will now appear. Click on the gear wheel at the top of the page (13).

We recommend that you turn off the following three settings from (14, 15, 16).

Your selected FileDrive will now open. Click on the folder Shares (17), during which you can access your drives from the remote desktop.
