Give deputy access to your email

How do I give a colleague access to receive and reply to emails and meeting requests on my behalf?

Open Outlook either from the taskbar or by clicking on Start (1) and select Outlook (2).

Click on the Filer in the top left corner (3).

Click on the Account settings... (4).

Click on the Proxy access (5).

Click on the Edit... (6).

Type the name of the person you want to give deputy access to (7) and then click on the name in the search results list (8).

Click here Add to cart (9) and then OK (10)

You now need to specify which rights the deputy should have to your tasks, inbox, contacts and notes (11).

Reader: The deputy can read items in your folders.

Author: The deputy can read and create items as well as modify and delete items they create.

Editor: The deputy can do anything that an author is authorized to do and in addition
Change and delete the items you have created.

Check the checkbox Automatically send a notification to deputies with a short description of these permissions (12) if you want to send a notification to the deputy about the changed permissions.
