Synchronize bookmarks and passwords in Microsoft Edge
Follow these instructions to sync your Microsoft Edge bookmarks and passwords so you can bring them to Modern Workplace.
Click on the using the icon (1) top right corner of Microsoft Edge
Select Log in... (2)
Enter your email address (3)
Click here Next (4)
Enter your password (5)
Click here Log in (6)
Click the user icon again (7)
Select Turn synchronization on (8)
Your Microsoft Edge bookmarks and passwords are now synchronized to your Microsoft account (9).
Sync bookmarks and passwords in Google Chrome
Follow these instructions to sync your Google Chrome bookmarks and passwords so you can bring them to Modern Workplace.
Click on the using the icon (1) in the top right corner
Select Enable synchronization... (2)
If synchronization is already enabled, your bookmarks are synced to your user and you simply log in with the same user on Modern Workplace once it is set up.
Enter your Gmail email address (3)
Click here Next (4)
If you don't already have a Gmail, you can create one by clicking Create an account (5) and follow the instructions.
Enter your Gmail password (6)
Click here Next (7)
Then verify your identity.
Click here Yes please (8) to enable synchronization of your bookmarks, passwords, history and other items stored in the Google Chrome browser.
TIP: If you log in to the Google app on your phone, the above will also be synchronized to your phone.
Copy Mail Signature
If you have multiple email signatures, it might be a good idea to make a copy of them.
If you only have 1-2 email signatures, you do not need to do the following. These can simply be copied from a previously sent email. How to do this is explained in the Setup Wizard that you need to complete after the switch.
Open up Pathfinders (1)
Type %appdata% (2)
Open the folder Microsoft (3)
Copy folders Signature / Signatures (4) to your desktop or document folder. You need to remember the folder location.
