Disabling cached Exchange mode on shared mailboxes in Outlook

How do I turn off cached Exchange mode on shared mailboxes in Outlook so I can see all mails in that shared folder?


Note! Before you turn off cached Exchange mode in Outlook, be aware that it will take up space on your computer. You may therefore experience a slight slowdown of your computer.

Instead, you can choose to access Outlook via outlook.com. Here you can view all emails in shared mailboxes without taking up space on your computer.

Open Outlook and click on Filer (1)

Click on the Account settings (2)

Open up Account settings... (3)

Tag your personal mailbox (4)

Then click on Edit... (5)

Click on the More options (6)

Click on the tab Advanced (7)

Remove the check mark in Get shared folders (8)

Click here OK (9)

Click here Next (10)

Click here Done (11)

Click here Close (12)

Then restart Outlook.
