Compliance - Defender

Your PC does not meet the current security settings - Defender  

1. identify the device 

In the Company Portal on your PC, you can see the device name of the PC that does not comply with the security settings. You can open the Company Portal by clicking the link at the bottom of the email from Microsoft or by searching the Company Portal from the Windows flag in the bottom left corner.

2. Restart your PC

Close your programs and restart the current PC. 

3. Start synchronization via Company Portal 

When you start a synchronization in the Company Portal, your PC will download the latest updates. Follow this guide to learn how to start the synchronization.

4. Check if the problem is solved

Once the error has been resolved, you can check in the Company Portal to see if the issue has been resolved, ensuring that your PC does not lose access to company resources.

5. Uninstall third-party antivirus software

If the error is not resolved using the above, check if you have a third-party antivirus program installed in addition to Defender. If you do, uninstall it. Follow this guide to see how:

6. Check if the problem is solved

Once the error has been resolved, you can check in the Company Portal to see if the issue has been resolved, ensuring that your PC does not lose access to company resources.
