How do I whitelist, blacklist and release emails in my spam filter?
How does the spam filter work?
Check4Spam spam filter protects your inbox from spam and viruses.
All incoming emails are scanned for malicious content before they are delivered to your inbox.
Handling emails caught by Check4Spam
If the spam filter blocks some emails, a spam report is sent to your inbox that looks like this.
You can view and manage each email caught by Check4Spam by clicking on View Message (1) next to the email in question.

Under Actions (2) in the top right corner, you have different options for handling the spam email and sender:
- Release: Releases emails that are mistakenly caught by the spam filter.
- Release and Train: Release the email and train the spam engine to get better at catching real spam emails.
- Blocklist Sender: Blacklists the sender's email address from sending to you in the future.
- Allow List Sender: Whitelists the sender's email address so that emails from the sender will land in your inbox.
- Remove: Deletes the email from the overview.
Notes: You can whitelist and blacklist the sender's email address, but not an entire domain. To whitelist or blacklist a domain, you need to contact an administrator, either ITF or someone in your office who has been granted special access.
