ATP - Microsoft Advanced Threat Protection

Why is Microsoft Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) activated?


We're taking our digital security to the next level. That's why we are introducing Microsoft Advanced Threat Protection (ATP). This means that emails will be scanned for malicious attachments and phishing attempts. In other words, security is activated to make your email communication more secure.

What does it mean to you?
In the future, you may find that it takes up to a few minutes before you can open an attachment that you have just received. This is because the attachment is being scanned for malicious content. While the scan is in progress, you will see the message below in the email:

Once the scan is complete, you can open the attachment as usual.
